Look PX20

is the booster strap for the boot supposed to be around the back of the hard shell? I always put mine inside the hard shell is this why I am getting shin bang this year?

Is there even a foot in that boot? It looks brutally stiff.
 
It seems like it wouldn't do anything if you put it around the liner, thats not going to support anything. You'd need to put it around the cuff to get some support, but I may be wrong.
 
Power strap goes outside the shell on the back, otherwise it's kind of pointless. On the front of the bood, you can put it inside the shell or outside for a different feel.
 
Look and Rossignol both went to the same design this year, they both got rid of the heel turn-table, which will definitly be missed. basically the new design is more release efficient and if you have stepped into them they feel super solid when they lock down ....they do have the same toe piece this year which is good the heel has more horizontal elastic travel as well which means it lets the ski flex more without pre-releasing ...overall it is a good binding despite the non turntable heel which is definitly getting criticisim and still has the verical tail piece so they still look good
 
well after the first year of the new binding style everyone i have talked to in and out of my shop are super bummed out, this binding has had major problems pre-releasing, even when they are cranked, my buddy was heli skiing on them and had them to 14 and was still releasing
 
then you must have had some whack forward pressure issues. ive used the new style exclusively for the past year and love it.
 
dude, im a ski tech. I know that the forward pressure wasnt wack they switched to this style because they are alot cheaper to manufacture, the binding is not half as good as their old turn table design wich has been tested and loved for years
 
Actually, it is cheaper for any company to continue manufacturing their old/current products than to come out with a new one. Design, R&D, new molds, new everything is super expensive. It will take a few good years untill they actually are cheaper to manufacture. You kiddies forget that process alot.

it might take a couple of years for the companys to see the money coming out of the new design but in the long run it will be cheaper for them,

im 21, rossignol flow team and i live in tahoe, Nope i havent been on them because im not a fucking poser who needs 20 din.. i stick with fks 120 or p12 jib, old school axial im not sold on the px. when you start a sentence with " im a ski tech" then your wrong... what do you expect?
 
did i ever say i rode the new style? no, i ride the old pivotal heels as well and love them, all im saying is that i am bummed that look and rossignol threw out their sick old design for the new style,you my friend have a shitty ski tech then

yaa, chris is good at sacktaps...let me tell you. but seriously, they did change the design because it is cheaper to manufacture, yet it still seems to be working for people i know who ride them
