got them brand new this season, 2 weeks ago the brake and heel peice snapped off whan i landed sideways on an under spun hand plant, i got that fixed, last weekend the other one snaps off WHILE IM STILL WEARING IT, like i go to carve off a lip, and something snags on the ground. i look down and What Do U know the brake and heel peice were draging in the snow, got that repaired, go to the hill tonight land sideways off a backside 270 off attempt on a 2 ft high turbo tube, and the whole bonerish peice pulls out of the part thats drilled into the ski, obviously snapped, and the brake comes off once again. i go down to the bottom take off my one working ski, and the brake falls off while i lift it up. i dont even want warentty, i want these to burn.

Moral, dont buy these bindings

pics up tommorow

havent had any issues with mine. just got unlucky and jammed a brake into a crevice on a box and ripped the piece that holds it in out

thats really weird cuz i love mine. but i'm only 115 pounds and my brakes tuck in really good on the ski. one time my friend turned my din down to like 3 tho and i popped out on a 5 and ripped the brake off but aside from that i've loved mine.

mine are ill. had to get the brakes bent out 2 mm or so to fit round the chronics but wen i click in the tuck in nicely. they are ill

update, they werent under warrenty, so i got a new pair of the exact same for a discount, as i have bought a lot of stuff from the shop, brought them out to the hill today, over rotated a 3 by a little bit but stomped it none the less, but after riding it out for 2-3 seconds; the binding ejects for no reason. causing me to fall on my ski, and llacerate my forearm and ass. i pick up the ski and bindings have broke again. i ordered pivots so this will not repeat itself. btw i just got back from getting stitches, there are 14 on my ass and 7 on my forearm

for obvious reasons im not posting a pic of my bare ass

HOLY SHIT

either you keep getting the shittyest pairs of px12's or you ski like a fucking beast

haha

Holy shit. I thought it was an alias and I was reading my own story in my mine.. EXACT same story happened to me. 3 weeks brand new. Did a hand drag went to big, landed side ways and boom. Got it fixed, then the same day, went ski slide to sw up on a flat down box. then the whole binding exploded... My shop is try to get it under warranty and I told me that I dont fucking want one of them again, he'll gave me pivot. I might receive them this week ! stoked. but who knows...

By far the worst bindings I have ever owned! Pre-released all the time & just felt like garbage.

i've used px12s for 4 years and have broken my brakes twice and no other problems. you may just have terrible luck, or px12s may suck. but that sucks that your bindings hate you

same, mine seem to be doing ok other than fact that they should be burned in the fires of mordor.

Sorry to thread jack but I have a problem along the same lines. I had px14 racing bindings and whenever I crashed hard, the toe piece would twist so much that it would be stuck in a vertical position. This happened several times, and one time it broke for good so I sent them back. Now I just have my old rossi scratch 12s on my park skis and they also twist and will likely break soon. The breaks always break too. I have my dins at 8 although I could ride them a bit higher. I am 150lbs. My dilemma is should I buy fks 140s next and risk them breaking since they have the same toe piece or should I go to the fks 180s? I feel like 180s might be too much. Should I look at Jesters or Peak 15s?

get fks 155's^

dont have the shitty toe piece

are cheaper than the other two

and have a more accommodating din range

Wow. Maybe you should detune your edges a bit, haha. I cut my arm open on my ski edge once, only needed 3 stitches though. Didn't really worry me too much since my leg was broken also.

Yep. Maybe you should learn that EVERYTHING is going to break eventually. Skiing is a sport that puts a ton of abuse in the skis and bindings, so live with it

BREAKING NEWS PEOPLE! PLAST BINDINGS ARE ALL GARBAGE

really people, there is a reason so many of us buy metal bindings(fks/s9/ect)

mrstskier, he is talking about the ti version which has a metal heel.

i also have the same bindings and you are having really shitty luck on them because i have never had problems with mine and i even felt my brake hit on the side of a flat bar yesterday when a slipped off doing a 5050. i looked down expecting the brake to be bent or something, and found they were perfectly fine.

my brother had demo px 12 (not the ti version) and they just broke on him... after 3 years consisting of 70+ day seasons, and one season with 100+ days. i would say that the bindings can take a lot.

Been riding Look binders for a loooong time and never had any of those problems. In fact I've barely ever heard of people not LOVING Looks. Maybe your shop is mounting them wrong, take em somewhere else and ask them to have a look.

My px12's are pieces of shit they haven't really broken yet but whenever i ski it feels like the skis and binders could just fall off at any time. the only major problem i've had with them is i overshoot jumps a lot and since the bindings have those stupid risers i now have two holes in each binding riser from the brake pad getting shoved down and into the riser, and they just feel loose on the ski. The only look/rossi binding ill get now is the pivot/fks.

Received my repaired binding yesterday. Ride them today at avila and broke the other one... Went to the shop where i bought them and now have fks.. px12 jib are absolute shit. end.

Damn you guys are having terrible luck with your px 12's. Personally, I have px 12s, sth 12s, and griffons and the px 12s definitely feel the best and work the best. I trust them more than anything, even though I have never had a problem with any of my bindings.

no one has considered that the shop may have no experience at mounting bindings and fucked the ski or the fact that this guy stacks way too much "slightly over rotated my 3" binding relatec or skill relatedY???
