Look pivots

Hey guys, I recently got some new faction prodigy 1.0s (181cm) and I need to get bindings. I am trying to decide between the pivot 12s and the pivot 14s. I am 6'3" 175 pounds and still growing, I am an intermediate park skier (3's 5's off jumps and some 2's off rails). I have my dins on my old bindings set at 9.5, but I know I will need to move them up in the future. just wondering if the pivot 12s would be good or if I should spend the extra $ and get the 14's.
 
The new pivot 15 would be ideal, pivot 14s if you dont want to fork over the cash for the 15. Pivot 12s are a no go for someone your size
 
Ok thanks, I will look into that. Is the main benefit with the 15's is that they have the all metal toe from the 18's?
 
Yes. If you don’t want to spend 400 for 15’s there are some great deals on 14’s.

Hell, I’m a little smaller than you but ride 12’s at 9.5 and have never had a problem. If you want to keep your purchase under 200 it’s really not that bad of an idea but if you’re cool with dropping $230 then go with 14’s for sure.

Oh and did you get the prodigy’s on curated? I just bought the 2020’s for $209 bucks on there and am throwing pivots on. We can be ski twins

Thanks, I think I will go with the 14's unless I find a better deal somewhere.
 
Lol yeah just got delivered to my door. $209 from curated. Not sure when I’ll be able to use em but they’re a beautiful looking ski.

I went through most of the check out and the it still said the CAD price. When does the price conversion happen?

Not sure, their site kinda sucks on my mobile platform. In the upper part of the page there is a Canadian Flag CAD logo, are you able to switch currencies?

I tried it on my computer but it still isn't obvious whether it is $209 in Canadian or U.S. currency
 
What I’m seeing on the eBay site is that 12’s are 230 or whatever CAD and 179 USD which makes sense

That's their eBay outlet store and all prices are listed CAD, I didn't look through everything but they have shifts listed at $559 CAD with is $391 USD rn.

Do whatcha like, Corbetts has some sick deals especially when the exchange rate is unbalanced. It's not my money and I don't need any bindings...thinking about a setup for my boy for next season but I probably shouldn't buy anything right now.
 
For sure, if they were around 150 USD I’d buy two lol

What do you think would happen if you throw it on your credit card than check the pending transaction to see what the actual price is. You could probably cancel the order way before it ships because it's the weekend. Good idea to read through their policies and details of such but might be worth it?
 
Not sure, i don’t know if chase would be down to just cancel because I didn’t understand exchange rate lol

also some newer black look pivot 12s with 130mm brakes $175 + shipping
