Look pivot vs. Marker Squire brake tearout

So I just got a new pair of skis, atomic infamous mounted with squires, and on my first day I tore out both brakes landing switch. Luckily, the actual binding was fine and I got the brakes replaced. What I am worried about is the same thing happening again, and having to keep on replacing the brakes. Would it be worth it to buy new bindings? I would like some pivots or fks, but I don't want to have the same problem. Do pivots and fks have the same problem, and would it be worth it to upgrade from the squires?
 
If u snap a brake on pviots its definitely a pain to replace because you have to take the heelpiece out. So dont get pivots if you always break brakes
