my PX's are acting up lately, and I almost died becasue of it.

just curious, why do you all hate the PX so much? i don't ski them, i ride FKS's, but functionally, the PX releases exactly the same as the old P series, with less lateral slop. they ski much better. my only gripe with them is that they're less secure if your forward pressure isnt spot on, and the mounting pattern for the heel is huge compared to my FKS.

why did they still made that huge dildo thing on the PX serie... that was so unnecessary. They should have made them smaller = lighter. The heel doesnt pivot... They looks so cheap. I only seem to see bad thing about them. I didnt want to kknow anything about salomon before.... but right now if I was looking for new binding I would be all over STH 16 or 12

Pivot by leaps and bounds my friend...the PX is crap.
Yes it has the same elastic travel, blah, blah blah...the difference is in the way the elastic travel is achieved...the PX is all in the toe and 'feels' a lot different. The PX is also heavier and more prone to breaking. And the mount pattern is way bigger, which messes with the skis ability to flex as it was intended to. They switched because it was cheaper to make the PX, same reason they switched tha race-stock bindings over...because it's much cheaper to streamline the models and use the same machinery to make more than one binding.
I'll hoard P-series and FKS all the way, but when they are gone, I'll most likely look to Salomon for the STH, or some other binding. The PX just isnt worth it, the only reason I started riding Look was because of the safety of the pivot heel.

My FKS are great, just their hard to find and brake issures are annoying. Mojo 15 have been great so far, and I'll try Saloman before i get another pair of px's.
