Look Pivot questions.

Hi Im wondering about what bindings to put on my new armada t-halls. At first i was planning on puttin a pait of look px 12 jibs, that i have from before, but i feel that i want a binding with a higher din. I have been looking at the new look pivot 14s, and i have previously had the old look pivot 12s and they have been the best binding i have had. Beats my sth 12s by a long shot!

So my main questions are what is the difference between the new pivot and old pivot? are the new pivots just as good better etc? are they a good binding? bascialy what is your opinion about them from your use etc.

Info bout me: Im 1.76 m (around 5.10ft) tall, around 85-90 kilos, i usualy ride a pretty high din, because i have had problem with pre-release on my STH bindings. I have a pair of unmounted 171 armada t-halls that im going to mount on them. I ride mostly park, some pow, but i love pressing and rails and jumps in the park.

I hope this isnt a massive repost or anything, i searched for a little bit but didnt find anything very helpful.

Thanks for the help! :)

the new pivot 14 has a px style toepiece, whereas the old fks 155's and such had a different toe piece, that is the only difference as far as i know, that and they dont make a fks 12 anymore

talking about two different bindings.

Rossi FKS / Look Pivot 14/18s are turntable bindings, with the threaded metal rods on the heel, tons of metal, lightweight. These are the highest performance, race oriented models.

Rossi Axials / Look Pivot 10/12/14s are the oldschool "consumer" version of the turntable. Awesome binding, ride great, prone to getting a little sloppy after a few years of hard use, but still work.

Rossi Axial2 / Look PX are the new ones, and they all suck. dont waste your money with these. Ive ranted about it before, not gonna get into it. but trust me on this one.

Bottom line, go with the new turntable 14s, or if you have your eye on a pair of nice looking old Pivots (not beat up), go for those. both are solid options, and youll be happy.

Alright thanks alot for that! +K

but if i have the choice between a pair of almost unused px12jibs, and a pair of fairly used look pivot 12s (old ones) i should go with the pivot 12s ?

Go with the Pivot 12s. The turntable is just so much better than the heel piece on the px jibs.

top or bottom

i think the second one looks more like a dildo

yea the heel peice looks like a dildo, well sorta with some creativity. but yea sapposed to be real solid bindings.

this is a question about my jib 12s. i went off a little side booter in austria and did a 180, but there was like a 5 foot rock drop after it, and when i went off it and landed my ski came off, and when i look at the toe piece it was at a 90 degree angle. is that supposed to happen. i slamed it back into place so i could keep skiin, but it pops off alot now. any help??

If you got lucky you just ripped out a screw and you can epoxy the hole and put the toepiece back in. If you're unlucky you fucked up your toepiece and you need a new one or new bindings

i hope, i got like 6 inches of snow last night and so i made a little jib in my backyard, and like every time i jumped it poped off.

He was talking about the p12s which are not fks, the p10-14 are not bad bindings but they are not the same design as the fks design... It I'd just confusing because look named both bindings the 'pivot'
