So Im picking up a pair of hellbents this season and I want the look pivot bindings for them but the widest brake I can find for them is 130 and the hellbent is 132 underfoot. Will the 130 brake be wide enough? has anyone used this setup? And if it wont work does anyone know where I can get a brake wide enough?

thats kinda what I was thinking, I just wanted to make sure before I shell out $300 for bindings. even if they do rub a little i can just bend the brakes out a little.

Hang on a second... what sort of Pivots are we talking about? If we're talking the full 360-degree FKS style Pivots, then where the heck are you getting a 130mm brake from? As far as I know (unless they've very recently released a 130mm brake) the largest you can get is the XXL which is 115mm, which can pretty easily be bent over 132mm Hellbents but you get kinda duck-footed brakes.

If we're talking about the 45-degree-each-side Pivots, then yeah you can get a 130mm brake but those bindings are chronic for ripping out on fat skis.

Even though they make a brake that wide i still wouldnt mount a binding with that small of a heel hole pattern on that large of a ski

Yeah I agree with you on the heel thing but I have bad knees so the pivot heel really appeals to me since it could potentially save my knees a little.

I am sure you will be fine, but be careful if you are bending them. The look brakes are difficult to replace if they are broken. Hope it works out for you!
