Look P12 vs. Salomon s912 Ti

So... I've got P12's right now... I could either mount them on my PE's, or drop $160 on s912 Ti's.

I rode the P12 last season, and it never pre-released, was pretty sweet... but pretty heavy.

I know for a fact that the s912 Ti's are lighter than the P12, but are they that much lighter than the P12's that it would be worth $160?

How about anybody who's ridden the s912's? Ever pre-release? Durable?

I love the 912 ti's and have not had any problems other than a break bending on me, completely my fault too. If you have the P12's why spend more money on some 912's and have the P12's sittin' around. The soli's I hear go both ways in terms of good and bad but for the most part I've heard mostly good things about the P12's other than the weight.

Oh, my 912's have never pre-released on me either...great bindings for me.

I'd sell the P12's to my dad.

I never pre-realeased in my s912 ti's but that might be because I race in them. I think there a sweet binding, if you want a lighter binding that much more, just get the salomons?

Had a lot of buddies pre-release on the 912's. Never heard of (or had) the same problem with Looks.

Like I said I've heard it both ways. I probably just depends on your physical characteristics and the way you ski. Probably is this way with most bindings too.
