I have the s914 and the rossi pro 180. Both of which are real solid bindings. As far as the brakes bending, solomon bindings caneasily be replaced, where as look/rossi bindings are much more difficult to replace. Salomon bindings, will release smoother than looks, thus you might want to set your din higher on salomons. I like looks because they are more compact, and the heel pivots right in line with you femur which helps reduce acl injuries. Either way youll be fine, they are just bindings. P.S. Stay away from markers, they are the most inconsistant bindings when being tested.
