look jib bindings vs. p12

I think the Jib binding is just colored to match the Troublemakers because they are exactly the same. Freezy said something about the brake being stronger on the Jib bindings. Thats about it though. Maybe theres a weight difference, but I can't really find any facts about the Jib binding, only on the p12, so there pry the same.

b-wald said there is shock absorbers in the jib binding too but it was mostly just a marketing thing to go with the Troublemakers.

that whole shock thing is only true to some point, all it is is a 2 or so mm shim under the heeltrack that is rubbery, I personaly own a set and I also own a set of Rossi axial 140s, and I cant tell a differance what so ever. Theoreticly it should work, but when you mount the heel track it gets so tight to the ski it basicly preloads all the rubber. That and its pretty hard rubber. Seams like a gimmick to me.

 
the break in my p-12's was pretty flimsy, it broke when i landed a 720, and kept on breaking later on, but other than that there a good bindin, i'll probably get the jib one if the stronger break thing is to

i just got a pair of the new p12 ti's

i sent back my old p12s in april, and they just sent me the new ti's, they are pretty sick

havent been riding the p's

i would say get the jibs

they are a good park binding

but also work in big mountain things
 
does anyone know how wide the look jib binding brakes are... i want them to fit on sir francis bacons, just unsure how wide the brake is
 
wow, nice work bringing back a 5 year old thread...... and do you not know what google is at all?? i mean are you joking all you have to do is type in look px12 jib on google,ebay,ask,yahoo. and you could find like 50 diff things that tell you how wide they are. and no, they would not fit your sfb's you will have to get wide brakes for them... and im fairly sure no stock binding brake would fit over those skis... and im fairly sure they are 80mm stock brakes.
