LOOK JIB BINDING MYTH

im sensed some confusion and baised opinions about the jib binding v.s. other Look pivots.

first of all, Look makes a QUALITY binding, best in the market in my opinion.

secondly, the Jib binding is the shit, cuz its a look of course, and the graphics and color combo make the binding sick as hell.

but, just if there is any question......the jib binding and all other look pivot bindings are EXACTLY the same (P10, P12, P14)

the only thing that is different about these is that most pivots come with a riser plate underneath or a spacer.

the Jib has a spacer, but a little thinner than most of the others made by Look.

so, if you want the 'jib' binding without the 'jib graphic' buy any Look or Rossi Pivot at a shop or anywhere that has the option of swapping that riser or other spacer for the thin 'jib' spacer. BINGO jib binding!

You're dumb. The P10 has a DIN to 10, the P12 goes to 12, and the P14 goes to 14. So they are NOT all the same.

take a P12. slap a spacer under it. jib binding.

thanks. that actually cleared it up. but can you get the jib in 14din? or should i just get the p14? and is the scratch a direct copy of the p14 and p10 or of the jib?

well for some reason my p12 jib cost less than the normal p12 at my shop, so i just went with the jib.. GOTTA LOVE THE GRAPHICS

or you just take the spacer out completely and the bindings sits super flat.

that way you dont have to worry about finding a store that will swap spacers

looks and rossis are really nice, but i hate the long heelpiece. i seriously bruised my calf last year because of it, and ive heard nasty stories about people being ass-raped by their looks. but they are sick bindings none the less
