how gay is that the one time im on the west coast skiing a big jam and premier comes to my town. had afterparty on lock too
 
Hey guys by the way, have we found a bar yet? We should pick something soon.

I work right down by the wharf, and I know its not cheap but there is this awesome outdoor bar right on the docks, literally about 200 feet from the Imax theatre. Could be good for RIGHT before the Imax, drinks are prolly mad $$$. Someone with some knowledge, lets pick a bar and a time!!!
 
since eastar5 is unfortunately out of town and can no longer host the afterparty. we are now looking for a new host. If you have the afterparty maybe we will throw you some free shwag. please PM me if you are in the boston area and willing to host since not all of us can go to bars.
 
im down with meeting some cats before still like skodeo said...someone in the know should pick a place...preferably where someone whos not quite 21 (like a month away, feel bad for the person, but shes my ride down) can come inside. i have a few other heads who are 21 and willing to drink down hard with me as well...were all chill cats...do it!

hey I am going to the Tap around 5 that night... Meet me there if you would like. Then, I think, I am just going to Bar hop until the imax. The Tap is a chill place and around 5 I think people who are under 21 can get in. Its not the biggest place in the world, but cool. It is located right down from the Mcdonalds which is across the street from Fanuiel Hall (think I spelled that wrong). It is a 10 min or so walk to the Imax. I think the street is Union Street. Not to hard to get to.

haha agreed BHP is totally lame usually. Although I have been there a few times and had a good time. Yo whats the address for the Tap? Sounds like a good joint, do they have food there as well? Sounds like it may be the best/closest bet for pre-Imax shennanigans for the legals.

9:15pm - Doors open to guests; movie tickets as well as raffle tickets can be purchased in the lobby of the theatre.

9:45pm - People can take their seats in the theater while we've got some music bumping...give around 15 minutes for that.

10:00pm - Start to raffle off as well as toss out some product provided by our sponsors

10:20ish - Get the feature started....should be outta there a little after 11.

The premiere is located at the Simmons Imax Theatre in Boston (It is the one right next to the Boston Aquarium which is right on the waterfront). There is a parking garage right next to it if you are driving straight to there.

A simple concept of how far away from the screen you are as well... For example look at one of those big images that is made up of a bunch of smaller pictures inside of it. When you are really close the image the big image is unclear; then the more you step away from it the easier it is to see.

In an IMAX theater you aren't right up next to the screen.

my summer setup is like 3/4 done and i live in west roxbury. if other people want to bring jibs it coudl be ok, but right now it would be disappointing and if more than like 8 people showed up it would be pain in the ass...too much waiting. i'll bring mine to someones house with a big yard...anyone?

oh and i gots a tramp as well...
