Look for somethin

I have always wanted a pair of these too. They would be perfect for winter hiking. Hike up a mountain, and "ski" down. I know they were made in the 1980's. The Hunter Mountain ski museum has a pair of them. If anyone knows where to buy them online, I'd buy a pair.

Oh, as far as what boot skis are.... They're basically small plastic snowblades. They don't have a true binding, but your boots (hiking boots) get strapped to them somehow. I don't think they're meant for big mountain skiing, as they have no metal edges. Instead, they were probably designed for hikers or for just messing around. They are light, and would easily fit in a backpack.
