if your ski is within about 5 mm from the brake size you are crazy to get wide brakes. this is because most shops will bend them for you saving money. also the most important reason is that if you get the wide ones they will hang out past the sidewall of you skis giving them the potential to catch on each other when skiing. if you try bending them and it doesnt work then get the wide ones. but you definately dont want your brakes to be rubbing when you are skiing.
