i dont see what everyone loves about these things...personally i bought em and hated them

every time u clip in u have to stomp down multiple times. and theres nothing that actualy clicks u in. its just a giant elastic holding u down

i say it was a good binding when it came out

wich was a wicked long time ago

but its behind its time now

also ...so many blind spots when they release

did you notice a weird feel in the heel? im not sure if that was the binding or me, but it felt really weird. im not too familiar wit the look line.

definately not a better binding out there, if you have no snow on your feet, they come up right away. and as for releasing, ive never had them release at a bad time. its all when needed and never more. ive skied salomons, tyrolias, markers, atomics and looks. id definately say the looks, and the tyrolias are the best. markers and atomics are average, and id trust duct tape over salomons.

the reason it wont click in is because unlike other bindings, it requires a virtually snow-free sole, hence decreasing the chance of pre-release...

If you have to stomp down multiple times, either your boots are fucked, or you need to learn how to place your foot onto the binding before stepping in.

^ having NO SNOW on the bottom of your boots is very important. I love my looks.

look bindings are sick! i don't have to crank my dins to like 10, they hold really well, and release when i need them to, they're just great. if you're complaining about the clicking into them, try not being a tard and scraping the snow off your boots, and making sure your snowpants dont bunch up at the bottom of your boots. bonehead.

dont know what everyone has on Salomons. I've skiied just about every binding out there and Salomon is still my fav. I'm almost 200lb and never had any trouble on my S914s or 916s. Marker def pre-releases alot. Looks are good. Next year they are changin' the heel to a totaly different no-turnable heel!!!

haha 'bonehead'... i'm getting p10s over the summer, can't wait

Learn how to put your skis on!!! I have the p14's and there bomb proof!!! and never had a problem with clicking in!!!

yeah, but i do make sure to take the snow of my boot, and i dont agree they are bomb proof, ive brocken fucking 6 pairs of them last year and i broke 5 lines this year, i got salomons and their bombproof compared to those

Your making shit up, 6 pairs of look bindings, 5 pairs of lines and you say your Salomons are bombproof? lmao

god i love my looks, i will most likely never ride another binding again.

and you should be cleaning your boot off before clicking in anyway, thats not good for your release chances...

i like my p12s but all look and rossi bindings have shitty brakes that bend and snap, ive bent 2 pair

Land Shark, Land Shark.

The only time i have had a bad release out of the last 4 year's was when my din was to low for what i was doing, Look/rossi own's.

Just dip your dong in paint and smack your helmet with it.

word, mine are bent up too...friggin blows

i Have salomons and believe me they are all that people are saying "shit" they pre release like crazy and even when u get them dined up to somewhere they will stay on your feet to your feet wobble whil inside the bindings and i demoed some looks last week and they were awsome didnt prerelease at all i highly suggest them

thejackal1177 (aim) instant message me if u get bord

you have to hook them, bend the brake in the middle to give it an elbow so the brake when it is completely pushed down rest's on the ski, but when it come's loose it spread's and goes down liek normal. you will learn.

Just dip your dong in paint and smack your helmet with it.

Too bad they got rid of the pivoting heel. After riding the new ones, I would recommend stocking up on the pivots if you can find them.

^ sick setup I have look p12 jibs with ar5s 180. anyways looks are the best. they like know when I want them to realease I'll fall real hard on a large jump but just kinda slide and not fall hard or tumble and they wont realease but if theres any twisting and slight chance I could get hurt off they go! best ever. my friend has markers he land a 180 off a 35ft jump just foolin around he sticks it clean then the binding just releases salomons suck they crack alot. you havent broken 11 bindings either your are a liar! and if you jam it hard its cause your not lined up with the heel unlike other bindings they have the pivot heel which moves side to side so unless your right ontop of it it wout click in.

I love the contrast between the Look binding thread, and the reactor thread.

I have crappy salomon bindings on my skis now. I can't say i'm really a fan of them. Ive rode skis with the P10s on them and i love the binding!! It takes a little while to get used to the no clicking noise and the stuggle (sometimes) to get them on solid. Overall though, they are a super sick binding. I WILL be rockin' the p10s on my skis next season.
