i see alot of people talking about the new PX models.... do you recommend the older P12's or the new PX12's or the new PX12 ti's?

I have both p12 jibs and the new px12. I've been happy with both of them and i think you should get whichever one you can find for cheaper. They wont fall apart.

ya, they both clamp onto your boots and release when they are supposed to.

are the px's the ones that have the smaller heal peiece, that looks like it sort of wraps around the heel of the boot, with just wire?

ok, if you want a full answer...

the new ones hold you in exactly the same, if not better, than the old ones. they still allow your boot the same amount of elastic travel in the binding without releasing, which is what made the pivots so good. the new ones are also supposed to give you more control over your skis, because they contact the boot in more places, or some reason like that.
