that is such a rich city. i wish i could go there and check out all that stuff out, that is if it is all complete when i am still alive. that palm tree island is amazing.
 
wow....im so glad they have that kind of money. "the world" is already under construction. the ski hill thing looks pretty sweet, but they need a park or something. actually its all pretty sweet. i'd like to go stay at that underwater hotel if they ever make it (and if i could afford it)

My friends have been there, they are from Iran. well they are not my friends at all but ppl in my class.

Everything is cheap there, Ipods are worth nothing there. They get the laster tech. My Math Teacher last yearmoved their to teach.

the place is nuts, I saw a show on the building of this one hotel there that is shaped like a sail and almost all glass
 
to bad the waves will erode the place, and the screwed up the eco system, the waves are messed up so the shore line to the land will erode to, basicly destroying the peoples there lives
 
that's what ithought to when i first looked at it but dubai is a real rich city. i believe they will do some of those things. the underwater hotel would be awesome.
 
great ideas for sure. why don't we make a bunch of tiny islands two feet above sea level and continue to sell oil which causes global warming and inevitably sea level increase. hahah what a bunch of nobs!

Skiing one would be cool tho! Oh to be so rich you don't even know what to do with it all. hey why don't they give some of it to the starving ppl a couple countries sounth?

educated comment. do you know where dubai is? East Arab Emirates---Not Iraq or Afghanistan. Granted some of the oil tycoons may be funding some amount of terrorism, but the general population is pretty damn solid there. They're trying to do something good and attract people there, not to kill them...but tourism.
 
is this really gonna happen, cuz that yellow thing came up a couple of times, intending to be a joke?, looks pretty sick anyways. they have a sick tennis court on top of a hotel in dubai too. federer and agassi played like last year

^lol, isnt one of the other middle eastern countries building mini islands all to make the shape of the world if you were to look at it on a map. I saw it on vh1 and they said celebrities were like buying up the islands that represented certain nations in the world
