what is the longest gap anyones ever done on a snowboard or skis, cos chads gap is pretty fuckin big, but i bet theres bigger somewere else, let me know if u know of one bigger

i think there is another one in Grizzly that doens't even look like a gap its so big. i heard about it a long time ago, but it mighta been people being stupid.

oh yeah, there is that one that Mike Wilson got worked on 185 feet. thats pretty solid. And some snowboarder his a really huge table last winter that was like 180 feet. it wasn't a gap, but it was a sick hit. The run in was like 2000 vertical and sooo long. i think he FS 180'd it or something.

Well man-made gaps like Wilsons one he knuclked on, or something natural in Grizz like Chad's?

As for another big one, I think you're all thinking about Lavanthian(Levanthian) Gap. It's monstruous from what I hear.

there are some rumours of a gap called leviathan that is supposed to be somewhere near chads gap and is supposed to measure 150 ft.

and chads isnt natural, i think that the landing hill of chads is actually the stuff that they put out of the mines, at least ive heard something like that.

You kinda repeated what I just said about Levianthan.

And as for Chad's being natural. You're 1/2 right. It is two Mining Shafts that form the gaps, but what I ment was that not man-made like with a snowcat and piston pully, in-bounds in a park.

yeah tables aren't gaps. Gap's are huge, thats just a big hit. If you mess up on a table you're less fucked than if you mess up a huge gap.

Dude that table the snowboarder is doing is a monster. Whoever said you are more fucked on a gap than a huge hit like that...you may be right, but I am pretty sure if that guy had cased that table, he would have 2 broken ankles, 2 broken legs, perhaps a broken spine, a nice hit on the head, and probably an arm or something would get broken on the tumble after the hit.

yea i almost forgot about that one, thats huge, they say in the commentart of 1242 in thge extras that that gap was 215 feet

if they have a good day they jump like 100-120 meters...but they are not far off the ground since the hill is pretty much decreasing in height around the same amount they "fall"..

I would still be scared shitless

any pics of the 780? im guessing that was done by those guys in the spandies that do the arodynamics iwth there skiis and stuff.

^ We had the video a while ago. You can easily download it off Kazaa, but I'm not to sure about the other programs though like Limewire and Winmx.

the bigest gap ever built as far as i know was at butermilk mountain in aspen colorado it was 185 feet and mike wilson shorted it see yearbook or happy happy for footage

i dont know, i think iwould rather slam into the snowy side of chads like vinny did than case that table
