because that would be sick. they make them fat as hell like the prophets. why not long as hell like back in the day?

because you don;t need a 210cm ski that is 130mm at the waist. your going against progression of skiing. id would like to see you ski tress or tight chutes with that ski.

the only thing it would be good for is trying to break a striaghtline top speed record, wow then you would be really be cool.

I think the majortity of people on here would use anything around a 185cm ski for backcountry skiing. and around 90-120mm waist.

the only reason to bump up to a 190-195 would be if your dropping 50ft cliffs, and straightlining bella colla chutes and what not.

unless of course your 6'7 290lbs.

that what i think anyway.

i didnt ask for a 200 cm ski with a 130 mm ski did i? i would like a 200 cm ski with a 90-95 mm waist. and why the fuck do you guys always bitch about the progression of skiing? why dont you ski for yourself?

you might be onto something... skiing on huge pow boards could be like longboard surfing... a soulful smooth carve. Like the Spatula, though, it would probably be too limited of a market to sustain sales worldwide.

useless.

yeah a lot of people might not buy it. but it would make some comfy ass turns. just like you said about a longboard.

word. In the meanwhile, may I recommend the Big Daddy for you? So far, it has been more than enough ski for me at 6'0 185lbs

the 189cm pistols actually are 193cm if you measure from the tip to tail and not the running distance

Ideal Pow-Blades are about 110cm fat blades with a extra wide underfoot, im thinkling about getting some with reverse camber 05/06 modle for next year, u shoudl too

I kinda agree not with the length thing cause that wouldnt make sense but with not skiing for others people are way to worried about style and what others think be yourself be what you want to be do things cause you want to not becaue its cool sivers cool but im not gonna get it because everyone does.

sometimes I can, like, read peoples minds... its like I have Espn or something...

okay dude. fuck snowblades. nobody likes you. go rate your own pictures some more you asshole. ^ and i hear you man. ive got siver stuff though. haha. not because its cool, but its a company that only makes ski stuff. like oakley makes everything, and orage is way too expensive, so is dna or whatever... i just support the skiiers.

I believe Stockli makes a 201cm Stormrider. 94mm at the waist I think, and fuckin burly. Legend pros are what, 194cm? Those are very burly skis too. I think Ingeous also makes a 200cm ski. The thing is, there has been a general consensus that the new fat, stiff, skis that have sidecut (but not a tight turn radius) AKA big mtn. boards just don't need to be longer than mid-190s. No one (including pros) really feel like they need 200+ length anymore. You probably don't either, but feel free to pick up 201cm Stocklis, it'll probably be too much ski for ya, but who knows.

How 'bout some 230cm with 160 underfoot. Then we wouldn't have to turn.

What else is there?

^ no its because just about everyone else who is leading the forefront of skiing has realised that they have taken 190+ skis as far as they will go...and you should too.

fuck you

at least the guy wants a longer ski. Not like some those out there riding 160's and being 6' tall and what not.

if you think the guys at the 'forefront' of skiing have given up the 190's because they've done all they can do with them...then that's stupid. You think 10cm really puts a limit on things? I'm seen guys at Alta skiing on 210's and totally destroying everyone.

What about the atomic 'Sugar daddy, pimp edition' I think those are very long and wide, Besides you could get some volkl sanouks which are near 200 and wide and straight with swallow tail. A few cms either way won't make or break it

We pay our debt sometimes.
