Longer or shorter

if your an average weight guy i would say go longer. its more weight + ability then hieght alone.

long skis dont really make it that much harder at all. it might take a few days to get used to it but you will like long skis better in the end

go atleast 175, it's all personal preference but 20 extra centimeters will not make spinning that much harder, if anything it gives you more stability upon landing...

well witha longer ski is it harder to bring around on rails, wat r the pros riding on ,,longer or the shorter,,or is it all personal pref.

If this is a serious post you should probably del. your account because you are too nubish for this site.

fuck you dude, hes new and hes learning

go 176+ it might take a couple of days to get used to them but once you do you wont regret it. more stable on landings and more float in pow pow

ya dude. im way shorter than you and ride 174s. I bet its so hard for you to land anything or to turn. why not just buy ski blades if you have 160s

its a sad day for ns when you realise anytime a really dumb question is asked with little post count you go "hmm probably an ALIAS"

id go 180, doesnt make it that much harder to spin, actually i found it easier on bigger skis

yo im not a fucking noob, for u guys saying im just new and prolly suck i bet i can whip u in a comp..with cork 12's, im not kidding and im not trying to be or act all big. but thats the only reason i had the 161

I bet you still looked really goofy though. But keep claiming, I'll believe it with a video.

go easy on this guy, he's from sault st. marie, he doesn't know any better.

where are my lollerskates

haha wow im 5' 2'' and ride 171s ar6s...def go bigger, 184 is good, they wont even seem big when they are mounted center or close to it. Trust me it only takes a few runs or so to get used to and its so much better having a longer ski, its faster and has a lot more stability. Helps out a ton if you accidently land a little backseat.

last year i moved up from a 165 to a 180, and it was the best decision i have ever made, i am 6'1" and 170pounds, and it just feels so much better to ski something bigger, almost everything is easier, and it only took me about 2 runs to get used to the extra length. additionally, as previously stated, center mounting them will make them ski a little shorter, so you most definitely want to go longer if you plan on mounting near center

Yea im the same as you im 5 10 and i got 159s but they are two yrs old i didnt have enough money to buy new ones. But yea I would say 176 is what im gettin next yr maybe 181s but I do like shorter skis, not ridiculously short tho

nice dude, i put on blades once and i did a quad kangaroo flip naked oh yeah and it was switch. what do you got on that big boy¿

Oh yea post your footie next time you comment.

im 5'11 and im rocking 174. they feel short and im trying to upgrade eventually.
