I want to buy a longboard and really have no clue what the different kinds are and whats good for what!! I am going out to victoria next year for school at uvic and want to buy a cruising board that will get me to classes and shit... Hit me up with any sick boards you know!!

honeslty im not trying to be a dick, but there are a bunch of threads already, so just type in longboard in the searchbar and check some of them out. Also, check out www.silverfishlongboarding.com they know their shit.

I have a Kracked Skulls scimitar and i love it, and i know a ton of ppl on here love it too, so definitely worth checking it out

Best 2 boards I have ever ridden.

Check out Get Longboards. They're cheap and really well made and you'd be supporting NSers. I have one myself and it's awesome. Almost as fun as my old Loaded Vanguard but a 1/3 the price.

Does anyone know about the rayne Isis... would that be a legit board to buy? the only thing im sketched about is that its tailored for a chick (she helped design the board for herself)

Not that big of a fan of dropthrough boards. A buddy of mine has a Gravity 36" Cruiser board with some loose ass trucks on. Most fun board i've ever skated. It's awesome.

yes if your willing to invest dervisches are amazing. My friend and i both have one theyre sooooo nice.

Neversummer. Good shit. Landyachtz is pretty good as well but I'd say NS for a first board. Don't get a Sector 9 or Arbor.
Also, Loadeds are overpriced limp dick saggy boards. (Disclaimer: there are two kinds of people, people who think Loadeds are the greatest thing evar, and people who hate them. I am obviously the latter.)

I love my LandYachtz as a cruiser. My next board will probably be a KS though, I've heard so many good things and they're really cheap.

i agree. i run with an original apex 37 and an original torpedo 40 and am very happy with both

Don't cheap out on your first board. I just got into longboarding this year, and I made the mistake of going to West 49 and getting a cheap Layback longboard for $200. It was fun, but I decided to upgrade after a few months to a Longyachtz 9 two 5 for $330. That board is leagues better than my first board, the two are not even comparable.

Sir, shut up.

The reason your first board sucked, wasn't because it was cheap, it was because you bought a board that wasn't very good. You can find awesome boards for cheap, and spending $330 on a board you don't even know you'll like is like spending 500 on your first skis, not ever having skied. It's ridiculous and dumb.

If you're going to buy a board and you're new, I'd suggest a Kracked Skulls Scimitar. I have it and it's wonderful. So fun to ride on, no wobbles till 35 miles an hour. Really stable and easy to ride. Definitely suggest it. Use code Wolfpack for 5% off. Only about 150 dollars.

go onto bustinboards.com .. you can customize your own longboard they give you sevreral decks sevarl desgins and you get to chose the colors you want the trucks, wheels, and bearings
