just wondering if anyone here longboards? i am interning for www.concretewavemagazine.com and were roadtripping to montreal to write an article and shoot pics for an up coming issue of the mag.... i want to get some newschoolers cats out to the event.... anyone in the area stoked?

longboarding is the shit, except there are no good hills in waterville, unless i want to die trying to longboard the access road, but that hill is sick, super long...oh well

Were meeting at Spin boardshop and riding with the dudes who work there! there showing us the city, and some good spots.... we have a dude flying up from philly and were coming from toronto... i ride an www.ashland-designs.com insider deck, and a sector 9 pintail.... i rep an element jake rupp shortboard as well.... im mostly about transition and carving as well!

speed isnt bad either! glad to see your stoked, it'd be rad to have you up!

yeah, concord NH has a rediculous hill that has a 1/2 mile long straightline down one side, and a whole network of freshly paved, non-crowded roads off the back that offer pretty much everything (curves, cruisers, rollers, etc.).

yeah, concord NH has a rediculous hill that has a 1/2 mile long straightline down one side, and a whole network of freshly paved, non-crowded roads off the back that offer pretty much everything (curves, cruisers, rollers, etc.). I ride a Cloud Nine, so it's a bit short for the big death hills, but perfect for curvy roads.

I ride my longboard everyday in the summer, but I swear I'm going to get hit one of these days. So many close calls last summer, Chicago's traffic is a bitch.

I made a few boards on my own, and ride them around alot, mostly downhill, Ill probably make a cruiser once school is out. I love just going crazy fast while carving down a hill, same feeling as skiing.

Agreed, burlington VT is the best area to longboard, it really is like a big ass hill, everywhere you go you can long board, and theres one of the coolest long board shops here with the chillest dudes who run it

PocketRocketRipper, where do you live? I live in Hopkinton (west of concord but still boarders it) and ive never ever seen anyone riding in Concord (i bike in Concord a lot). Im thinking about getting into longboarding: where do you buy your stuff near Concord?

In the city there is basically nothing, but there a few okay places in the surrounding area, but all of the midwest is generally flat and crappy. Anyway, I'll be longboarding Burlington next year too, and definatly would like to meet some of you people.

i took my old sector nine and cut out wheel wells and sanded the bottom graphic off...it carves sweet and bombs hills real fast. like my good friend timbo said, plenty of nice hills in connecticut.

 
YEAH LONGBOARDING! i rock the landyachtz too.

and to the NH cats: me and timbojones know some guys that longboard in plymouth, i guess they're trying to set up a competition soon. they did an access road around them that was 11 miles.

and in burlington i heard there's a free shuttle from the bottom of the city to the top of UVM, so you can longboard and get a ride back up all day long.

The moral of the story is, bullshit may get you to the top, but it wont keep you there.
