were you in a parking garage or something or did you run a light cuz both those things can get you in trouble...if not then you shouldn't have to pay the ticket because you weren't doing anything wrong.

yup its bullshit i've been stopped a couple times longboarding and have gotten out of the tickets and techniclly they have me by the balls cuz where i live its illegal to skateboard on the road or sidewalk and they claim your only allowed to use it in a skatepark but yeah its bogus i just suck it up and hope for the best

Yeah, I've have problems with cops for a long time because of longboarding. I just don't stop for them anymore while I'm riding. The last time that I decided to be a "good kid" and stop for a cop I ended up sitting on the curb for an hour and a half with three cops and I got a ticket. After that I just quit stopping for them when they try to pull me over on a longboard.

 
you dont get arrested for just longboarding. you get arrested for doing something illegal or doing something somewhat illegal then mouthing off. kids are stupid

fuck getting in trouble for skating in parking garages, thats were its at! ive gotten a ticket for not skating with a helmet on (OK Like I'm going to put on a HELMET to skate from the beach to the other surf spot) and once for skating downtown on the road. How is that illegal? Cars have 4 wheels, so does my skate! fuckers.

That really sucks man. I got a ticket when I was in Michigan for a week, ut I've never gotten one here in Massachusetts. Maybe its not illegel here but in Michigan I got a long explanation of Michigan state law. Some people are beyond assholes. But keep riding that thing dude.

got pulled over at night in west linn for longboarding lights and all and i was told unless i had proper lighting on my skateboard i would be arrested and my skate impounded... no fuckin joke impound a skateboard

it is illegal to ride on streets and on sidewalks when peds are present. it is only legal to ride on sidewalks with no people. i got pulled over on a road and almost got a 300 dollar tiket
 
cops can be real dicks sometimes, a few weekeds ago, it was like 3 in the morning and me and two of my friends were walking back to his house and this cop rolls up on us and my friend is drinking a coke, just a plain coke and when the cop rolls up my friend screws on the cap and lets it dangle at his side like he does after every sip he takes but he cop was like "WHY DID YOU HIDE YOUR DRINK FROM ME!?!" and my friend was like "i didn't, its just coke, you can smell it" and he proceeded to hold it up to the window and the cop was like "no" and my friend goes "its just coke, i swear, you can smell it" and the cop was like "NO! put that back" then to get him to leave, we asked for directions to my friend's house and he gave us bad directions

Security guards and cops can be such dicks sometimes.. especially when you skate and slide in the subway. they threat you with all kind of shit... drugtests, to take youre skate from you, court, going to the station and bla bla bla... i know im breaking the silly "laws" while skating in the subway etc.. but who cares? if i wanna skate somewhere i make sure i fucking shredd it! Thats skateboarding... No rules and a big F-U finger in the face of those in charge!

i have a similar story, me and my friends were longboarding in a carpark with 6 levels, real fun. Then a seccy came to kick us out and practically pushed us down a 20 stair set. We told him to get fucked and then bailed. Fucking security gaurds!
