Longboarding Shots at Cape Cod

1. they're cruising..

2. they're not wearing helmets

3. the shots are all "buttshots" they have no facial expression or emotion saying longboarding is fun, nothing.
 
Thanks, I was more or less looking for critics on the photography, not the actual longboarding. And I didn't realize longboarding was supposed to be fun, thanks for imparting your divine wisdom unto me.
 
if you actually read what he said, he said you should try to get shots of their facial expressions
 
I believe that part of photography, much like video, is to tell a story, and all I got from these pictures was that they were going fast, which is sweet, and the effect was well used, however I would take his valid criticism and use it to better the pictures you take...dont look for criticism and then totally be stubborn when it comes your way, try and get some facial expressions, some close-ups and frontal shots, and if its raw photo critiquing then here is my opinion, some of them seem a little over exposed, and like I said I liked the effect used to portray movement.
 
I don't mean to come across as a dick, it was merely constructive criticism like what you asked for. And as others have mentioned a photo is supposed to make you feel something, thats why I commented about the facial emotions.

get in front of them and turn around. I dont know what your riding with them but i would suggest using a sturdy bike to ride in front of them with so you can turn around easily without losing balance.
