If you longboard and want a new deck or a complete get a GET longobards one there the best board i've ever ridden and reasonably priced. http://getlongboards.weebly.com/
I recommend the black knight, it is perfect for beginner riders but will be a board that you can continue to ride as you progress. It is the perfect flex for everything, its not too soft to downhill/free ride but still soft enough that it is fun to cruise on. Also GET longboards will becoming out with a downhill/free ride specific shapes soon!
I mean, I like flex for pushing and carving, but my old never summer descent would wobble and chatter like crazy whenever I would try to drift or rail a corner. I also weigh 215 to boards flex more for me than others
Longboarding is also a way of transportation. I always laugh at kids trying to get around campus on skate decks going so slow they might as well walk and you can hear them from a mile away. I don't go downhill, but I love riding around on a smooth, quiet, fast board to get from point A to point B.
^^yeah, i use mine for those beautiful days when i don't feel like taking a bike to my classes....
i also enjoy outrunning bikers on my board, where i go to college there are quite a lot of hills, so plenty of opportunities to go fast and let the bikers bite the dust
http://getlongboards.weebly.com/whats-new.htmlNew GET longboards freeride prototype board, 3/4'' twin kicks, .6" of w concave, 40" long. Lengths and shapes will vary. It will be 9 plys thick and will taper down to 7 in the rails. This will make the grab rails less bulky while pre-drifting, early grabs, and basically any trick involving the rails. It will also reduce the weight of the board. Check it out.
