ive been into longboarding for the past 3 years or so. well, i havent done much cause i always mt biked. well, my bike is screwed up, and i busted out my shitty old deck and hit the hills. the local loop is about a mile and a half downhill, about 1000 ft uphill, 1000 ft back down, and then a quick steep road to the top. ive probably made about 30 loops this weekend, and man, my legs are noodles. cause you are crouching all the time (and then walking back uphill)its really good for your legs endurance. plus, its is so goood for your rail balance, specially when you are doing upwards of 30 miles an hour. and besides that, its wicked fun. im gonna start a new sliding board for a scholarship art contest, and then a foamcore & composite dropped DH deck, laminated with carbon. too nad winters almost here.
