Longboard Question

I'm thinking of buying a sector 9 punta lobos, I'm 5' 10" and 170 pounds, I want to just cruise, commute, and bomb hills. Would this be a solid board for me?

I put a complete on nordboards with 180mm paris's and 75mm orange otangs, I'm just iffy on the board cause I know nothing about it and want to make sure before I buy it.

If you have any suggestions on longboards around $150, that are solid for me, let me know.

Thanks NS

*i know almost nothing about longboards but ill try to help*

apparently kracked skull boards are a really good price point board. like a whole set up would set you back 120ish. take a look into those

I know they look kinda sketch, but they are actually really good boards for the price point The trucks are just clones of randalls, or maybe paris's, i forget which. My friend got the evo clone one and i feel like a dumbass for paying $260 on a real landyachtz instead of getting one of these, you cant really tell the difference. i think these are your best bets

Clone of boards is one thing but i have gotten scammed with "randals" which ended up being clones and they were absolutely horrible, just pay the extra cash and get the real thing.

really? thats interesting, my friend has them and i cant tell the difference. it probably depends how old the small asian child who's making them is...

Don't get sector 9. A lot of people say its a good starter board, but nobody needs a starter board because you'll be beyond sector 9's skill level within a week or so. Just invest in a nice board that will satisfy your needs as you learn.

If you're willing to spend the money (you should if you want to get into longboarding), go loaded, original, rayne, landyactz. check out
