I love longboarding. Much like an epic pow day, or a sick swell, words can't describe the feeling or riding a great longboard. Longboard popularity is building, however, many still don't realize just how great it really is.

Just take a look at this video and whether you've ridden for years, or have never touched a board, I hope you can really capture the magic and understand the fun, excitement, and relaxation longboarding brings to anyone who steps on a board.

Enjoy the ride.

i just recently fashioned a longboard out of my old rossi snowboard. its quite the badass contraption. i'll post pics soon.

dude i love it, and i've barely been doing it over a month, and i have a shitty sector9, but it's still so much fun. what kind of board do you have?

I've owned a longboard for over 2 weeks now and i simply cannot tell how much i love it. its soo smooth, and soo great to ride. now i wish i had perfect roads like these ones.

my friend and i are filming for the loaded 10 trick contest. its sick. im almost positive hes gonna win, like he is as good as adam and adam

ive had a longboard for about a month and i ride it whenever possible. its a lot of fun but for some reason my dad doesnt want it at school :(

that was just the sickest, chillest thing i have ever seen. it convinced me to get a longboard. whats the best one i can get for under $200?

fancy footwork, i hhave been considering getting a longboard lately, they pretty handy around town and hella fun.

ive had mine for like a year and a half but my bearings are messing up. i dont get as much speed out of my push and as much coast. i think ill go get new bearings

get the cock out of ur ass

and yeah ive had a longboard for a while and it is now my favorite thing to do in the summer. It is as close to snowboarding as i can get without snow

thats the great thing about longboarding, it really doesn't matter what you ride, as long as you're riding. right now i have the original (not bamboo) loaded pintail for everyday, and a eastbilt 60" for being a PIMP. the loaded is seriously the best ride i have ever felt out of the 15ish boards i've used. the flex and feel of the board is just unbelievable, and the responsiveness of the board is unbeatable.

the 5 footer i just got is insane and also has an awesome flex, not just like a big piece of wood. i stained it with some darker color and it looks amazing IMO. it's a straight up tank and just begs for attention.

and here comes the inverse relationshipwhich i am begginning to realize- quiver increases, money decreases

looks like a fun time. and i know from experience, it's really hard to capture just how fast you're going on video, so i can appreciate what you guys were doing. it looks like you got some nice spots around too.

hopefully i'll post pics of my boards in here, and maybe me riding too or something.

Wow sounds like you have no idea what you're talking about. You probably wouldn't even be able to do that.

i lived in chagrin falls outside cleveland

some gnarass cruisers and bombers me and my brah got the whole town painted red i could rattle off hella breaks around those parts- shit theres even a 1930s concrete swimming pool 15 minutes away in mantua

dude iv skated half those hills i must live real close to u

iv totaly skated that hill with the dome near it off 87 right??

PM ME FOOL

Adam and Adam kick so much ass, their trick tip videos are fun as shit to learn with to, think I may go longboard right now haha

i longboard a few hours every day, i have a fiber flex pintail and love it, its such a nice sliding board.

and my board was like 200 or so and its as nice or nicer than the top of the line vanguard.

I was longboarding alot this summer until I bailed really hardcore. That video makes me want to get back into it. I ride a LandYachtz.

to some people, not me though, I'd take adam & adam style riding any day of the week

the shit you posted is trying too hard

i agree, i'm not too much into sliding. that chris dahl stuff was pretty cool, but i just thing the dancing is so much more slick and i love it. i can't wait to get a better board.

the guy who made the "loaded" longboards was a risd ID grad i met him this summer, sick shit shuv its on longboards? hardly ever seen that before

LOL that shit is fun to do but u seriously think thats cooler? no way, I like it but I totally understand when some people say it looks gay

now if someone started doing slides like that people would just drop their jaws. WTF does "trying too hard" mean anyways? thats the stupidest shit I've ever heard.

are u guys one of those "dude I'm chill and you know it" types who love jam bands or something?

sliding is ok, but i still don't think it should be categorized as longboarding. sure it's fun to have a slide or two in your arsenal, but it just doesn't seem fun to go out to a spot, and just repeatedly slide down. sure it's fun if you're doing it, and it is very difficult, but to me it just doesn't retain the real feel of longboarding and what longboards are really meant to do.

props to the guys who do it, and no hate because everyone has their own opinion, i just happen to like the real soulful longboarding.
