So im going to western state colorado university next year im leaving in like 6 weeks to get there a bit early but ANYWAYS.

I dont know much about longboards but i love to longboard around its fun, but ill deffiantly be using it as a way of transportation in town to get around since i wont have a car.

Whats the best college longboard thats good for cruising, thats fast, and small enought that i can attach it to my back back?

I like this kind of deck style!

Any info and pics help!

Bustin's Sojourn board is mad fun for stuff like that. It's really wide and comfortable, pushes fast, carves like a champ, and is not much bigger than a skateboard. (and they're custom painted)

Maybe buy a ''old school deck'' which are super wide and nice; you can cruise and do tricks if your really wanted to. Buy your own trucks; lots of risers; and long ass hardware from the hardware store and then buy normal longboard wheels with reds bearings. Thats what I do cause if you have a skate tool you cant change out the wheels/risers and it doubles as a skateboard

Earthwing jailbird, indy 155s or whatever is wide enough, small, soft wheels. Learn to ollie and such. My friend has one, and skating bowls on it is so fun. It's just like a huge skateboard, and I normall ride 7.8" decks so it's quite a change. They make bigger ones too.

If you want something with a more surfy feel, your going to have to go with a longer wheelbase, which will make it less of a commuter board and more of a cruising board.

I ride a loaded dervish which has a super fun flex, good for slides, and does well up to around 30-35 mph for speed. I believe the wheelbase on it is around 27-28 inches. the problem with a board that long is that it would be impossible to ride it like a regular skateboard in bowls and such.
