I don't know if this is in the wrong place, but living in upstate NY nights are about to get pretty long. I always have things to do during the day; ski, cut wood, snowmobile, but once night hits I have very many boring nights. what do you guys/gals do after getting home from a day of skiing or normal day in the winter months?

Everyone who lives in a climate like that goes through those long nights man. I live in Edmonton ab man. Get's really cold dude, like realllllllly cold. I suggest you learn a new instrument, it's really relaxing and good for you and it's so enjoyable! Or just try to tune out of the online world smoke a joint a listen to an old album start to finish.

I live in NH so some nights are well below freezing and windy. On those nights I get baked, watch tv wrapped in blankets and eat. Aside from that I'll make a big fire with friends, go somewhere with my brother to get food.

i play a lot more music too and it definitely seems to help

Anyone else experience seasonal affective disorder? I feel I get kind of depressed during some of those long, cold nights here in South Dakota

read a book, find some new TV shows to watch, hang out with friends, go see a movie, get a craft hobby you can do indoors, browse the web, etc etc
