Long Term Parking in Denver

Do you want it to be watched as you are away or can you just lock the doors and leave it be and not worry about it? Some people are quite particular about their cars. Do you not know anybody in the area you can trust to park it at? Rent a storage unit for a month, maybe a car lot will allow you to park it around back for a small fee, go park it at a place where people park them to sell(just dont advertise it,lol), leave it at work, leave it on campus somewhere, Walmart parking lot, camping spot, wrecker service/yard. Just a few ideas.

Walmart for a day or two, sweet. a few days, prolly fine. A week risky but prolly fine. A month? eek, that's risky.

Also have to take into account street cleaning and parking rules. Really a ton of places where lock the doors and don't worry doesn't apply. Not always an issue of "will somebody break into my car" and more an issue of "how likely is my car to get ticketed or towed?"

The airport. $8 a day

8 a day is a fucking terrible rate for monthly parking imo. I've never done long term parking denver but I can almost guarantee there's far better rates from legitimate advertised places. And then you have the option of craigslist/facebook. "Yo can I park my car in your driveways for ___" Maybe a hundo? idk. 240 is way too much though imo.

Yeah I agree, but worst case scenario it's always a viable backup.

Driveway option is probably best

True. For a week or two, I'd say send it. More than that it's worth doing anything. You could probably pawn it and by it back for less than 240. Maybe not(i have no idea) but that's a ton of loot.

I left my car in boston for 5 weeks a few years ago to go to boston. Tosses my friend a couple bucks to move it once a week for street cleaning.

Also OP, a month is worth looking into other more rural areas where parking is plentiful and people don't give a fuck. Probably can find a place to toss it in a driveway for 50 bucks within 30-45 min of denver.

Or maybe convenience matter most and 150-250 is change to you. Idk.
