Long Story Short Premieres

I could probably host one here at the University of Utah, or at least get in touch with someone who would in the ski club. Usually good turnouts, the projection screen kind blows, but there are plenty of good bars for hosting that shit, usually good turnout at Skybox.

Guys to answer questions about this, I hosted one last year for Booter Crunk and I've got to say it was definitly something I was happy I did. The cost is high up there (250-500) and that's just for the permission of showing the movie. If you get lucky and find a place to host it for free (I did at an old church) then you can easily make the money back by having people pay like a 5 doller admission fee, and/or hold a raffle. For Booter Crunk they sent me 3 copies of the movie where one was for the premier (I got to keep it), and two where pro autographed copies for a giveaway. Although around 30 people went, the snow storm that happened that morning kept from many to go resulting in over 100 bucks lost. Even though, I got to use a sound system free, a computer free and a projecter to send the video up on the church wall. They also sent me a bunch of sick posters, hats and tshirts to give away as well. The overall experience was very sick and I bet Level 1 is just as good, if not better at supporting people who want to host a premier for them. I definitly suggest for someone to do it, it's a great experience.
