Long story short is the greatest ski movie ever created

After watchin LSS yesterday, I saw that it is the greatest ski movie I have ever seen(I havne't seen royalty, so I won't discount that movie). But LSS is just incredible. It has the best urban(360 switch up, insane rails). It has sick, sick backcountry. The segments are very well put together. There are many funny, random parts. The music goes with everything. The editing is really tight, and the entire movie is just really creative. LSS is defineately the best movie of the year by a long shot, and the best movie I have seen followed by Whiteshine, 1242, war, stereotype...

And I dont care if people already made threads about LSS. It deserves another thread, declaring how great this movie is.

The only thing I didn't like about the movie was how corey vanular's seg is short and just from keystone. It is an amazing thread though. It just makes you wonder if he had filmed more, how great of a segment he would have had.
 
what is with vanular always having such short segments, i hated his part in shanghai six because it was over before it began
 
I got it wednesday and I live in Georgia, so yall should get yours soon. I couldn't watch it till after my calc 2 test yesterday. It's so so sick.
 
Vanular's segment is revolutionary, I don't care how short it was. His shots over the plastic barels are fucking rad.

 
I really enjoyed those shots myself as well. Whole movie was really good, but I still don't think it was AS good as TBC was.
 
its a great movie, but i think Propaganda.....or Happy Dayz top it. Best film of the year.....maybe, but not of all time.
 
this is true...not to mention in shanghai six it was the sickest segment....but to get back to LSS yea the urban is insane...and the crash segment is amazing...so is austria in the bonus!
 
maybe he is building hype for himself like how mikael always has parts that are only like 5 clips MAX long.
 
Im gonna watch LSS and S6 on monday..

Havent seen them yet. Im borrowing s6 from a friend, and im waiting for lss to come in the mail
 
i liked lss a lot more than s6. i liked how everything was put together a lot better, especially the shared segments. especially travis and steeles seg. that was dope
 
yeah, travis and steele's seg is so well put together. It's funny, and it's all about having fun. I like how berman put that fun sort of stuff, the stuff that was in high five, back into his movie. I really didn't see alot of that in s6.

Jibremix, what's the best movie?

Skimatic would have been far better if there wasn't so much of the wierd animation and it being so short. But skimatic is really sick. I just liked whiteshine better. Corduroy has the #2 spot for me.
 
i just have to wait until my friend gets it, thats how i watch all the movies, im just too cheap to go buy them myself haha
 
Agreed, I feel LSS is propaply the best ski flick I've ever seen. It flows so well, and segments aren't an overbearing showcase of talent, it's just fun! That's really something that makes a movie fun to watch, and this one really is. Absolutely no disappointment in anything about this film.
