Long Skis

So im 5'7, 170 lb and my skis are 166, but the guy who sold them to me is about my height and skinnier and said he rides 184. Are longer skis better for the park or does it really make a difference, from midwest btw so i ride almost all park
 
longer skis will be more stable in the air and at speed, but harder to manover on rails, its all a matter of preference if you feel more comfortable or short skis stick with it or if want something more stable get longer skis
