I know that most of you arent even old enough to buy cigarettes and will probably have no idea what im talking about so just ignore this. Is there anyone on here who knows anything about Instrumentation in chairlifts. Such as Programmable Logic Controllers and limit switches. Or you know of anywhere i can find info on the subject. I have looked everywhere and it is almost impossible to find anything. Thanks.

really? its almost impossible to find anything? people base their entire careers/lives out of his stuff and you cant find anything? on the internet no less.

do you know what ansi is? start with that.

I can find tons on instrumentation. I am about to graduate in october in instrumentation. You show me where i can find good info on VFDs and PLCs in chairlifts. But i don not know what ansi is. Why dont you tell me.

That is a cool site but i am looking mainly for info on the controls aspect. I am pretty sure detatchable quads use variable frequency drives and programmable logic controller and i want to know what companies install/program/calibrate them. Or any info would be nice. I am trying to see what options i have for Instrumentation in chairlifts and trams and such.

by reading all these explosively large words that i can barely read, my mind has been taken, bent over, and fucked doggy style.....btw ur right OP .... im 14

how are you going to work on any lift if you dont even know what ansi is?

answer: youre not because no one will hire you.

im not sure what youre trying to do though with all this instrumentation talk.

and by the way, what ARE you trying to find out in this thread? it started out with instrumentation but now you want to know about VFD pump house shit?

and yes, you can find plenty of info on every kind of pump house imaginable. with careers/lives comes websites and books. companies have sites explaining their product which in your specific case would be PCL which i would assume has something to do with crushers.

Chill the fuck out. Im about to graduate for instrumentation. I know chairlifts use instrumentation. I am trying to find out what else it will take to get into that field considering i already know a good amount about PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers ) VFDs ( Variable Frequency Drives). Why the fuck are you talking about crushers and pump houses. Quit being a bitch and either help out or get the fuck out. I dont know who you think you are but i have a feeling you have no clue what i am talking about.

i will gtfo but only because i have a feeling you dont know what youre talking about lol. i misread PLC for PCL btw. totally different thing.

I am talking about the controls aspect of a chairlift. I do happen to know what i am talking about and if you knew anything about how lifts are programmed and operated then you would know what i am talking about as well.
