Long or short?

my friend asked me what length skis are better for jibbin and park adn i drew a blank whats better long or short

For strictly jibbing, shorter. BUt for jumps/overall park, a little extra length wont hurt at all.

Obviously, you have more control over small skis, but they have fewer options in terms of style. With a longer ski, you have more surface area to work with in terms of butters, presses, grabs, crosses, etc...Longer skis will be more useful outside the park, and, in my opinion, full grown dudes rolling on 160cm skis looks silly.

NO my brother had 161 Invaders and they seemed way too short for everything when i skied them (I am a bit bigger than him) They are symmetrical; to be mounted true center, plus they are really flexy, which are two things that make them feel shorter than they are. they felt a lot shorter than my 164 Public Enemies.

height? where are your pe's mounted? and where do they come to on your head?

a center mounted ski will ski smaller than a ski mounted at regular

invaders will most likely ski smaller than your pe's so i would suggest the next size up

go for 171 cause they are center mounted and will seem smaller and longer the ski the more the pop for jibbin and messing around in the park easier
