I hate long island so much. they're all such toolbags. i'm looked at differently because i don't get my haircut every two weeks and wear my vans, slim jeans and such. I've lived here my whole life and i do not fit in at all. thankfully, i've found a good group of friends that are alike me. I can not wait to go upstate for college (SUNY) and be with my people. It also sucks because of the drive i have to take all of the time to go skiing. Anyone looking at SUNY schools as well?

glad i'm not alone. where did you guys go after long island? did you go for college or just left?

haha, long island really is pretty terrible… well at least from a skiers perspective it is. i go to ualbany and all of my suitemates are from there. id definitely say that the majority of long island kids are really judgemental, especially if you dont have 10 pairs of the latest jordans and dont listen to avicii. if you wanna get away from long island and the people there albany is definitely not the place for you but im kinda used to it at this point considering north jersey has is fair share of guidos also
 
Lots of Lola in this thread, I can totally relate I live in westchester, lots of kids who think there better then me here so fuck haters. Being different is the shit, fuck judgmental little pricks /rant, my apologies
 
Well...his generalization does hold small amounts of truth. I thank my parents all the time for moving us off the island :P
