Who here has long hair? Like basically shoulder length or longer.. How do you like it? Reasons? How do you deal with it?

I want long hair. but EVERYONE is giving me shit and wants me to cut it already. Its at like shoulder length right now and yeah..
 
idk bro i was rockin hair at nose-length. It depends the way you are looking at it and what other people think doesn't really matter if your happy with it.

Pros:

-some chicks think its hot

-probably keeps your head warmer during winter

-if you like it then you'll want to keep it clean making you a more hygienic person

Cons:

-some chicks hate it

-it gets in your face

-it makes you sweat more in the summer

-you have to keep it from becoming knotty and greasy

-it can be a huge pain

I tend to grow it out in winter months but shave my head once during the summer. good luck
 
yeah I usually cut my hair once a year in the spring to about eyebrow length. But I have yet to cut it.. and 90% of the people I hang out with are telling me I should get a haircut because they are under the illusion that its greasy and nappy as fuck. Which it is when I don't shower but.. I do shower. I think I'm gonna geta couple inches off in a few weeks and then go till spring. A beard would help offset it too..
 
ive had my hair about shoulder length for a few years now... i dont even do anything to it... just wash it and dry it with a towel... let it air dry the rest of the way and fall where it pleases... its quite shagadelic and a total chick magnet... the ladies really dig it.... (claim)
 
uhhh, well, mine goes halfway down my back, like past the bottom of my shoulderblades, itss really long, i like it, its a pain in the ass though, i pony tail it if i have to look decent.
 
i actually probly have one of the longest hairs on ns, not to claim or anything

and uhhm. ,aintenance, i wash, comb and condition daily.
 
i used to have a little longer than nose length hair, i thought it looked cool, but long hair gets in your eyes a lot, it can look immature and the majority of girls dont like long hair. so i cut it now i have a clean cut hairstyle, yea some girls like long hair but most dont.
 
i used to have long hair last summer but during water ramp season i was made to tie it up so it was out of my eyes and apparently i looked like some kind of warrior with my hair tied up in a ponytail pointing upwards so eventually i just cut it + everyone said that i looked like a hippie so from then on i just kept it short...it's mostly just a personal opinion thing and if you like it alot go for it

 
i have long hair. its not to long but its kinda shaggy. it just looks better on me. i have a realy weird shaped head. it just works for me.
 
i usually grow some "hockey hair" in the winter(dont cut my hair during ski season) , but never even close to my shoulders...
 
on the subject if girls like guys with long hair or not really depends on what the guy looks like.. it's the same with girls, some look really great with long hair and others with short, it's the overall impression that counts...
 
im not gonna lie, i look like shit with short hair, i consider earish lengty short, sooo...

and the girl likes it too, alot haha
 
more girls seem to like it long than short... and the ones that seem to like it short are those lame straight and snobby types... or the wigger chicks.... neither of which i go for anyway...
 
so have i from guys.. i used to have really blond hair and now it's really dark, some guys like it others like the blond better.. but lets face it the hair doesn't really matter that much, it's just hair, if a guy doesn't like me cause my hair is dark then fuck him i don't wanna be with someone that shallow anyways..
 
I think long hair sick its just a pain getting it long. The middle stages suck. Back in the day i had some gnarly hair but i have decided to keep it short for now on.
 
actually yeah i kinda like the "bad girls"... u know the sleezy ones with tatoos that do drugs n shit and u know wont stick around for long... good times with chicks like that lol
 
well i have long hair but im a girl lol. if a guy is gonna have long hair it cant be too long and you have to take care of it like wash it and comb it and use conditioner. dont have it longer than like your ears for a guy cause its just gross if its longer
 
I try to grow my hair out in the winter

but it gets to a point between short and long and it just curls up and grows out not long. it looks like shit. by the time its long enough to where I want it I'm sick of it.
 
im growing my hair as a personal decision, not influenced by what girls like, what my friends think, what my parents tell me, but cause i want to. i wanna see what it looks like. im probably going to grow it to about right below my ears, the shaggy kinda look. i think that i look good with shirt hair though.

i think the JTT straight up long hair look lots of dudes have is straight, but not many can pull off the Bret unless you're a rocker like himself, it mostly looks rediculous.

Ive had long hair for the past 5 years and i cant complain too much. Its a pain sometimes. Mainly in the summer when its hot out. In the winter it keeps me much warmer. Oh yea mines about 2 inches above the shoulder. Best thing about long hair......it looks baller in your winter hats. There is no denying it.

My experiences with long hair are that girls love to run their fingers through it...When i had past shoulder length hair (keep in mind that my hair goes up and then down...so many curls) the girls loved to play with it and once I cut it random people (mostly girls) asked if I was the kid with long hair...Even people 3 years younger than me. It all depends on yourself and if you feel comfortable with girl length hair.
 
yeah, when yer girlfriend has shorter hair then you, and its time to meet her parents uhh, haha its awkward, as they stare at your hair, cascading down your back, when hers is barely shoulder length.
 
and thats why my name is "bobross" Total white mans fro if i didn't (which is what i did sophmore year of high school)
 
EMO?????? HHAHHAhahha far from emo....it was just in my eyes because i didn't shake it....it usually goes to the side.
