I want to see more photosss, here is a kind of long exposure I really just wanted to bump this thread.

btw, a good subject for long exposures is a waterfall. you can get some really great looking pictures.
 
bump, i just tried star trails for the first time last night, this is what i got with a 10 min exposure
i only had time to try one so this was my first take at it, i'll get some more at some point and fine tune them

man thats so sick, do you know how long the exposure was? i just started tryin them tonight so pics are comin soon
 
nice. id rate it a 7/10 because you should bump the exposure to 20mins and raise your f-stop. it will make it a bit darker but longer trails. i really like it though because of the almost full rotaion. hope this helps. post some more too.
 
yeah if i had time for another i would've done a 20-30 min exposurerotation is from wide angle distortion (shot at 10mm) and just cool sciencey earth stuff

Went out and took a new 30 min pic this weekend, not the best location but this time I got the pole star as someone posted before.

Really happy that I got this shot. Spent 2 hours in a lightning storm with heavy rain just to get one shot that actually turned out. Hope this works...
