So, I'm going to London with my family in a couple weeks. I was just wondering if anybody else had ever been, and what you would recommend going to see. Any contributions are appreciated. Thanks!

London eye, super long ques there tho. Hms Belfast, old battleship, docked along the thames, plenty of shopping and all that too.

london is a shithole. i think the center touristy bit is ok, i wouldnt know. but from what i've seen, it's not nice. try not to get stabbed.

i spent a piss load of time at the British museum, and that was fantastic, mostly because london is so bloody expensive

buy your tickets online before hand, that way you just show up at the time of your departure in your little sphere. Its deff worth doing though, try and go when the sun is going down as it makes everything 10x as amazing.

If you see any chavs stab them for me, wait, oh shit, if you stab all the chavs in london, only 5% of londons population will be left.

go to scotland instead....Edinburgh and St. Andrews are really fun...plus scotland is just better in general...

i was in london but didnt really do much. i much rather prefer Paris.... obviously youll see Big Ben, tower of london, london bridge...

i've being several times becuase i live over here. Personally i love it. Go see tower bridge, tower of london, London eye, Houses of parliment, big ben, then after big ben, walk through st. james' park down to buckingham palace. Another less known part of london that i love is greenwich town and the area around there. Theres a huge park with the royal observatory at the top of the hill, the royal naval college, and naval museum and the cutty sark, britains oldest boat. Great place, so long as the weathers good

says the girl from the city with a million paki chavs ahah

Check out the London Eye... the rest is all a bunch of old historical stuff. Like 6 ft bodies of armor and stuff. And if you feel like a long, crowded walk, head to Oxford St. Goddamn, I had to walk that whole thing with my rents, it sucked. JJB sports, mcdonalds, JD Sports, KFC, etc. It gets realllly repetitive

if i were you i wouldn't do that much sightseeing. london tourism is all pretty gimicky and i would imagine really expensive. i would highly recommend the london eye though. how old are you? are you planning on going to clubs and stuff at night? if so pm me and i'll tell you about some fun bars and clubs and good restaurants to go with your parents.

too many muslims trying to hand me convert to islam pamphlets and shit, very inappropriate considering what was happening at the time.

I was there during the tube rail bombings back in 2005. Those muslim fuckers prevented me from going on the london eye because they closed it down for fear of a terrorist attack on it.

Seriously, what the fuck is your problem, you went on about how you hated the muslims in my ski dubai thread, its fucking gay, there normal people like everyone else, you should be banned IMO.

Have you ever been close to being blown up by one? I'd be willing to put a lot of money on you answering no, so stfu.

They're not normal people if they'd be willing to kill me for being an "infidel".

I rode the Piccadilly line early that morning on 7/7. Less than an hour later it was blown the fuck up.

And if that weren't enough I was riding train lines that were involved in the failed bombings a week later.

Haha that makes me laugh, maybe i would know, considering every 500m here there is a mosque, meaning lots of muslims, becasue its a muslim country.

And to add to that when I was on my trip to Scotland last summer to visit family they were back at it! Trying to blow up an airport terminal in Glasgow for no apparent reason at all. I mean shit, I can somewhat understand attacks on the English, but what the hell do the Scots have to do with it?

I was in Inverness when that happened, still complicated air travel quite a bit though.

sorry to not reply this long, but im 14 and going with my parents. we are actually going to a family reunion, so it should be pretty cool.

was my savior in London. we got play tickets to lord of the rings, london eye tickets, a cheap hostel, and so much more. london is what you make it. its tons of fun, the british museum was neat but freezing cold so bring a sweater. other than that....just enjoy it.

we found a 600 pound set of Louis Vittion hair ties...thought that was a bit much for two elesic bands. and make sure you check out hemleys. its the sweetest toy store in the world!!!!
