the login box always redirects you to the news page. can it direct you to the page you came from? might be helpful, maybe not..

I reckon its possible. Just need the login script to know which page you came from and that can be doens using the $_SERVER'PHP_SELF' superglobal....

i dunno how to do it in php but in jscript you can get the address of the last page in history and refer back to it... i guess if you have global variables that are visible from all pages it will be extremely easy

yeah but javascript is only dynamic on the one page. The old link would have to be passed to the login page via the url or as a POST method. Spose javascript could write that for you but using the PHP would be much quicker.
