parker (switch_9) and i went today. it was really foggy all morning, and we just screwed around on some little jumps by the water container and shed below oberlin. about 12:30, we hiked over to the massive hip on the south side of clements. when i got there, there were a bunch of randonee skiiers sitting there talking. so i preped the prebuilt jump, stepped the inrun and landing, and then hit it once parker arrived. after a first hit shifty, and then a second hit three, both about 35-40 feet, i took a break. parker threw a strait air, a double japanish thingy, and a three to backslap. In that time, on of the other skiiers went above us, and started a slide. it sent avie debrie almost all the way to the jump. then, another guy went up and skiied right next to the previous guy, and sent an avie right under the landing of the jump. the jump is now completely fucked, and im pissed because it is extremely good location and a lot of fun, and it wont be usable for several weekends. fucking randonee skiier, he had to have his line even though he knew it would slide right into where we were jumping. I wouldnt poach his line, but he went and destroyed our jumping area. That is completely disregarding any sort of skiing unspoken rules. I am now going to be Nazi about the area around my bc jumps, because i refuse to let them get fucked over by dumb idiots. Grrrrrrrr.
