Lodge Food

i prefer the cheesy bread at my mountain.its bigger than a slice of pizza for only a little bit more.

plus they dont keep putting out fresh batches like pizza, so it really pisses off the employee whos taking the order because of the extra work they have to do XD

fuck overpriced lodge food. I ordered a turkey sandwich at Whiteface the other day without looking at the price, assuming it would be under $10. Got to the register and it was $13.50, absolutely insane, didnt come with chips or a drink either. Packing your own food FTW

It's called a truck bed, camp stove, and real food...

in the parking lot.

Eat in the lodge--HAH, it's a weird little bubble where food quadruples in price while avoiding any increase in quality.

seriously why pay 15 bucks for 2 tenders and fries, just stop by some store on the way to them mountain or pack a lunch

you...sure showed them?

confused as to why you consider making other people's lives more difficult a positive thing

It is clear to me that itsbenyo suffers from the fairly common douchebag syndrome. Visible symptoms of this usually are being very bro looking, having a below average sized dingdong and having a non chill personality in general.

I have come to separate conclusion. He is a very small kid, probably about 12 or 13, and he thinks that making other people's life harder makes him cool. Symptoms are similar except for one key difference. His appearance is closer to that of a sewer rat than a bro

Oh, really? I thought he just had AIDS and was going to die, but, now that i think about it, your diagnosis makes a lot more sense.

besides its not like they have to make new dough for it all the extra work is thawing out the bread and putting it in an oven vs slicing an already cooked pizza

i dont eat, and if I do it's the BBQ place in Idaho Springs.Used to be the A&W in Frisco. RIP :'-(

last time I went to Breck I got "fish and chips". I don't know wtf they were going for, but the fish tasted more like a weak attempt to make boneless buffalo wings, except it was fish. and hardly any fish, all fries. and when I have had chicken strips, they aren't very good and again, almost all fries

Free hot waterFree ketchup

Free oyster crackers

a little bit of free salt and pepper

Combine the ingredients and you got yourself a nice tomato soup

Gotta love timberline, they actually have reasonably priced stuff. $6 bucks for a burger isnt bad at all, and you can get pastries and other things for a couple bucks. Combine one of those with an instant oatmeal and you can get away pretty cheap :)

Every where you go that isn't a restaurant food goes up. look at movie theaters or stadiums. At least with ski resorts you have the option to bring your own food.

It's because I'm flat broke once I've already bought my gear and pass. I stop at mcdonalds or tbell and hit up their value menu where you can get enough food to make you puke twice for the price of one cheeseburger at the lodge.

If you work at a place and get a good discount do it up, if not bring your own. I love places that have food options nearby. For the ones that don't I'll grab a sub on the way.

If there's something really good, reasonable, or I'm feeling particularly wealthy I might drop a few bucks and buy something.

Most of the "food" at both those places makes me come close to puking right from the start. If you have those places near by there's a pretty solid chance you can get something real for a similar price.
