Locks?

I always lock my skis, I'm surprised more people here don't. I have a little lock that does the job just fine. problem is there are a lot of fuckin assholes out there who are willing to steal your shit. and it's not too hard to walk up to a pair, take them, and walk away. there was that kid who got caught with over $15,000 worth of equipment in park city a while back if you remember. and splitting them up doesn't work. people will actually watch you split them up and then take them and leave. please always lock your skis.
 
If I were to ski at a large resort, I would be more scared of replacing my bindings than my skis. my preccioussssss FKS bindings......
 
I've heard of skis getting stolen in queenstown though its pretty rare. I don't lock my skis but if I leave my pack down at the base building I always lock it to something.

it is pretty safe though, one day I accidentally left my car unlocked with my camera sitting on the front seat, still there at the end of the day, probably wouldn't be there if it was parked on a street in auckland
