Locations of natural features at Alta

Hey guys, I ski Alta a lot, and something that I've always wanted to do (because Alta doesn't have a terrain park) is to create a map of where to find most of Alta's natural features, or where they tend to usually spring up. Like ie which runs and chairs etc. Those of you that ski Alta post your favorite areas of Alta where you find natural jumps and cliffs!

they are everywhere, no need for maps. just cruise around the mountain and link some fuckin awesome natural hits together. really fun to do with the LCC resorts.

that being said, supreme side has some pretty fuckin mean lines that look like boatloads of fun. watched my buddies ski some really fun looking stuff yesterday but chose to ski the sweet deepness due to a bum knee. I haven't been there enough to know all the good spots but there are some real flowy lines dudes built up in some areas. Just ski around and you'll figure it out.

Cool thanks man!!! Yeah I always tend to ski catherines area and powder on the supreme side I'll have to branch out more, I've found a good amount of rocks and natural jumps off of sugar loaf on amen and off the trail near devil's elbow. I agree though there is stuff everywhere haha, but there are some spots that are pretty consistent and pop up at the same place every year

no problem. I ski snowbird mostly and don't get over there nearly enough but it seems like a great place to rip. Have been able to line up all my days there on ones with some fresh snow so its been fun. Yesterday was probably the best of the year, had some pretty choker turns in catherines, I like how the snow collects there, it skied deeper than what was reported.

I have never been to snowbird but I hear its awesome! I'll have to get that dual ticket sometime. And yeah the powder at Alta is awesome, its so soft and pillowy and you just float right through so easily

Wildcat, pretty hard to miss the natural hits, theyre everywhere.

I love wildcat every time I ski there but I always fucking forget about it for some reason lol. Maybe because its sort of hidden lol but not sure.

also, theres another cool thing about alta. if you have a season pass, you can go to their website and put in a code on it and it will tell you all your stats from this season. total days skied, runs, and vertical feet. its pretty cool.

i ski alta and wildcat for sure has the most hits. Other lifts have some jumps like racecourse on collins and stadium in devils castle area, but for the most part wildcat is where most the hits are. its basically like the park of alta haha

Wildcat, all under the chair. Cliffs, gaps, Step ups, even that huge natural hip somewhat near the top. Wildcat.

But skiing big mtn is fucking easy.

IMO why would anyone go to Alta, its terrible, just a bunch of old people who hate park rats, at least from my experience
