I bought a new camera this year to try and make it so me and my friends could make a ski movie at the end of the year in good quality. They all know it's a good camera, but i'm afraid if i upload it, the quality will go back to shit, so question is is how do i get it so you dont' have to compress it much, like buy web space or something? and is it worth it? should i upload them or just wait till the end of the year and put it all on a dvd?
 
go to the store and buy a firewire port for your computer. its just a card drive that you install, its about twice as wide as a usb port the the same length. it can handle very high quality stuff. then just buy more RAM, ram is random access memory, it helps the computer opperate faster when running editing programs and stuff like that. ROM is read only memory and just holds the information, but most standard desktops come with plenty of that.
 
^i already have all of that, it's just i don't knwo how to upload or save the videos w/ out loosing the quality
