pretty much don't know if there is a thread like this yet but i am in need of some urban locations, so pretty much just name some spots. with the type of rail and where it is located at. If you've got pics post em upill startfirst of coursereno, Clayton middle school, DFD, legendary railreno, arrowcreek park DFD, kinda small but funCarson train museum has a Phat melllllllow DFD but its in carson and carson just sucksreno, south meadows soccer fields off of wedge parkway, down rail with a mean donkey bonk on the endTruckee, rock podium rail, downrail, very popular/really sketchy

Alder Creek school in Truckee has a nice melow hand rail.

Truckee skate park can be fun too

theres a big curved rail at the incline highschool my cousin said people have hit. if you fuck up its kind of a big drop though.

Also driving from northstar, it looks like there are a couple handrails in the upper/overflow parking lot (right when you get to the circle thing) but I havnt gone in closer to check it out, because I dont have the skills to hit it.

heavenly stagecoach lodge. 2 down rails, one a double tube with a space in the middle and the other a single bar round rail. easy set up with great run in. there used to be a dfd going from the upper parking lot to the lower near the tram but that got run over by a cat. don't know if they ever replaced it

northwest reno. park off robb drive past the library and mcqueen. and westerguard elementary school. and an appt complex just down the road from the park. some CRAZY rails up there. multiple kinks and turns. becker does one in an old movie i think... cant remember which.

I know of 2 college campus rails down here that are stupid awesome if you can get some ice rink snow to the area.

first is at Sacramento State. there is this one super long steep-ish DFD round bar that I've seen fruitbooters hit. I'm scouting that one out for sure. It could be a bitch because you need to get a run-in going, but its for sure a possible hit especially for right side spinners.

another is this amazing rail-ledge setup at DVC where i go to school in pleasant hill. long squarebar dfd, not too steep, and starts out flat, so no need for a run-in as you just set the skis on and click in. it has thick ivy to bail in on the left side of the rail so its pretty safe. on the other side is a DFD ledge that is super smooth concrete, with its own ivy to bail onto on the right side of that. Its a bit much for skateboarders, but for skiers, its definitely possible - especially the ledge.

there are also hundreds of amazing urban hits in san francisco... skaters own that place, so a lot of the rails dont have deterrants on them, and its always cold, especially in the winter - so landings dont just melt away. I've scouted out a lot of them for future reference. A certain Kezar Stadium rail is first on my list.

i know this is a crazy rail, but isnt there a school in incline with a down c-rail. its up the hill from porters. has anyone ever hit that?

yes. im not sure if skiers have hit it or not but i've seen it in a few snowboarding vids.

forgot to mention that UNR has a lot of urbans. has to be a late night mission though because of people and security. lawlor ledge, a couple at the football stadium, and a couple in the quad/AG building area.

ltcc has a few. one is super mellow down that is about like 50 to 60 ft. there is a pole on the right side but i am pretty sure its clear able. there is another SUPER mellow down to left kink that looks legit.

plus there are a couple down rails up at Kingberry Middle School in the back.

i have a good idea, let post all the most epic rail spot in reno ONLINE so that every crew and there mom shows up to them when it snow!!!

i dont think you'll find that problem with the one in northwest reno off robb dr. in the park that i mentioned. i would consider someone willing to sack up and even attempt it a ballsy mofo. the only places i have ever seen multiple crews trying to hit is clayton and the soccer park in south reno

Hey stop being such a moody moo moo, mrif anything it will be even beter with more people, just means more tricks and more progression
