Local Gapers Discover Helmet Cams and YouTube.......?

hey they are rubbish but you got to start somewhere right, we have these guys come through our mountain all the time and they only do it like a week a year so they are never gunna be pro's, but they watch the good crews throwing down and look up to them so much, maybe offer to teach them a few things next time you are out, they probably think you guys are sponsored and live the dream.
 
the kids actally like 13 or somthin and his skis are in contact with the ground the whole time while hes doing "switch-ups"
 
coming from the kid who wont hit rails because he doesnt want to hurt his skis.

this thread has turned into a huge shitstorm. I find it weird that by now people still dont realize that there are people who are bad at park skiing. if they arent cutting me off or ruining lips I could care less if they put edits on youtube. good for them for trying to progress and make something fun out of it. I also think it takes balls to put edits like those up. I dont think these kids think they're good and they realize the inevitable hate they are going to receive. especially on a place like NS where everyone thinks they are the fucking shit. I'm pretty sure we all had a point in our life where he liked to hit the ol' rightous side rail booter and case a good jump every once and a while and of course hit those fat ride on boxes with our tips straight. just my 2¢
 
wazzzup bro, i dont hit rails on my new skis, i have a 2nd pair i got out of the trash though, i hit rails on those, but i rarely take them up, because half of the side rail is missing. ill admit im not good, or anywhere near the best. but that kid is just spinning on flat ground.

You just wasted so much money on twin tips and all your going to do is fucking video tape your friends doing 180's, skittling on to rails, going off the little "side jumps" next to the rails, going off jumps and straight airing every fucking time and going down a fucking run turning every 2 seconds.
 
now i hate to profile people, but the kid in the red hoodie is black. there are not a whole lot of black people who are comfortable around snow.
 
Really? a 5 pager just hating on some kid's edits? Come on, we all started somewhere and they're all having fun. Skiing is all about fun and shouldn't be taken so seriously.
 
Jesus. If you post an edit that doesn't have either a cork 9 blunt or a blind 450 out on NS, Everyone hops on the hate train. Leave the kids alone, you fuckers. You all need to stop acting like you guys are the shit. From what I've seen, most of the people on here including myself aren't that much better than the kids in the edit. We all got our starts somewhere. And, Yes there is such things as "beginner park skiers". We were all one of those some point in our lives so quit acting like you guys are the shit.
 
I'm all for having fun but do we have to post every thing we do on youtube. Just because you have a helmet cam, doesn't mean you should use it.
