Even to make this thread, I had to wait 2 full minutes in order to be able to type in this god forsaken box. It is really frustrating and unacceptable for a website of this caliber. Please fix this soon.
 
You're right, very bad for a free website of this freestyle skiing caliber. Oh whatever will we do......
 
By caliber I meant its dedication to its users. The admins run in circles doing ridiculous shit for us all the time and I am very thankful, however an issue as small as this (or is it?) should be addressed properly.
Why do you have to be a jackass about it? I hate people like you.
 
Sorry if I came off that way, didn't really mean to, but what can you expect?

I mean we have no monthly fees, they aren't making any HUGE amounts of revenue from the site and I'm sure at a time like this they can't afford to add many new coders to their staff. I realize it's a small issue, but the admins/coders aren't as quick and reliable as you seem to think. I'm not saying they don't work hard, but I mean there is only so much they can do with such limited resources, and they have so many other things they're dealing with right now.
 
got it too, not 2 minutes, but sometimes it can take quite a while to load, while it's actually already there and my pc stopped doing stuff, i still have to wait some time before i can type ....
 
It is one our massive list of things to fix, which we are slowly chipping away at we just have very limited resources to get everything done.

The load time is the result of the WYSIWYG editor we put in place years ago not keeping up with the times. You'd think its an easy fix but in fact it requires a total review of several parts of the forum (text display, link and script parsing, photo and video embedding) before we can deploy a replacement.

In the mean time you can simply go into your Account Settings and disable the Fancy Editor. You'll lose a few of the posting features but they don't get used 90% of the time anyways.

Jesus, just turn off the Fancy GUI editor. Not that hard... and way better for embeds, links, and everything else.
 
how do you embed without the fancy gui editor, because it loads a lot faster without it and i dont want to turn it on and off each time i embed
