LMU/any LA Skiers

So I'm a freshman at Loyola Marymount University in LA and I'm looking for some skier buds to go up to the mountain with/chill with on campus or in the city. I've found some snowboarders and gaper skiers but no park skiers yet. i've been wearing jiberish a lot in an attempt to find some, but no luck yet. hit me up in a PM or something if you're down here
 
I am over at USC right now and I'll be up at Bear Mountain all this winter. Any idea where you are going to be skiing? (I was on the USC Ski Team the last 2 winters, but am taking a year off from the huge drive up to Mammoth.)
 
YES. AN LMU SKIER. Dood I am a sophomore park skier from LMU. Im originally from Tahoe and shred Mountain High during the winter. We gotta shred. What dorm do you live in?
 
^I think I skied with you last year... It was really late in the season and mt high was a slush bowl. I was hanging out with this kid from lmu all day. He was your year in school too. Was this you?
 
I go to CoC and I ski Mt High. I suck at park but it doesn't stop me from wrecking myself on all of Mt High's ridiculous boxes all day anyway. I usually get 2-3 days up there a week.
So few park skiers at Mt. High you can pretty much say whatup to anyone and there is a good chance they are on NS.
 
i already got a MT High Pass but definately want to shred big bear some time. I actually had a dream last night that they already opened for the season. It was great
 
I live in long beach and ride bear. You know how it's overrun with boarders so that'd be chill to ride with some NSers. I've been riding park for 2 seasons so I'm def lookin for homies to help me progress. Get at me
 
^keep a look out for this thread once bear opens. Its my first year up there and need some people to head up with/ ski with. I am downtown LA.
 
I ski at bear, usually everyweekend, I live in southern cali,...I'd be way stoked to meet up with some ns'ers and shred, all the kids i go up woth snowboard..I'll be there opening weekend also namheannn
 
lmu grad- work right near LAX live closer to downtown. just picked up a pass to high for the third year in a row, enjoy riding park day n night, walks on beach, etc. down to carpool. mad decent skier.

 
^i'd be down to caarpool with you bro if you head up to bear at all. and by carpool i mean throw you gas money cuz i don't have a car. i live in long beach btw.
 
snow summit opened today, my guess is that bear will open next weekend...and when/if it does i better see some newschoolers out there....i have ns stickers all over my helmet, if u see me come say watsup
 
I actually made it up yesterday after a late night text that gave me the info. Pretty nice at summit with about 8 features and they let me use my bear pass. Good stuff. Highly recommended early season visit.
 
On the main run they had:

1. Really wide flat box fully in the snow.

2. Corrugated tube

3. Short Shotgun Rail

4. Mid-Length down rail (Best feature there)

5. A REALLY small A frame type jib

6. A flat box.

7. A trapezoid box with a very mellow slope.

The park crew was maintaining the features all day.

The learning run had 3 very short flat boxes in a row.

I'm down to carpool if you pass by where the 5 hits the 14. I'm not sure if you do but if you do I live right at that interchange I'd be down to switch off driving from there. PM me if that is the way you go.
 
i am mt. high local ride there all the time i have three herniated disks though from last season so ill be taking it easy for a little while hit me up though im not all that great at park though
